today I am going to discuss about mouth watering spicy Potato (Aloo) fry curry and its preparation.
Cooking time: 15 min (2 persons):
Ingredients:
1. Chopped onions ( 1 small bowl):
2. Mirchi (5 chopped as longer and cut into middle):
3. Potatoes (3 No. and chopped into small size slices):
4. Olive Oil ( 2 table spoons):
5. Mustard seeds ( 1 tea spoon):
6. Jeela karra (Cumin seeds ) ( 1 tea spoon):
7. Bengal gram ( 1 tea spoonful):
8. Ginger - Garlic paste (1 tea spoon):
9. Mirchi powder ( 1 tea spoon) ( If you need it spicy):
10. Salt ( t tea spoon):
Method of making:
1. Put a pan on gas stove with a medium flame. Add 2 table spoons of Oilve oil, 1 table spoon mustard seeds followed by Jeela karra (cumin seeds).
2. Then add chopped onions and Mirchi. To this add a pinch of turmeric powder and 1 tea spoon of Ginger-garlic paste and allow it to heat for 1 minute.
3. Then add slices of potato, and mix well with and cover the bowl with a plate and allow it to cook for 5 minutes.
4. After 5 minutes, remove the plate and make sure that the potato slices were cooked thoroughly. Then add a tea spoon of Mirchi powder, 1 tea spoon of salt and mix the ingredients well and again allow it to cook for 2 minutes by covering with a plate.
5. After 5 minutes, open the lid or plate and mix it thoroughly and serve it with rice or chapathi.
The delicious and spicy Potato curry is ready to eat........
